Atlanta Fine Homes Celebrates 2nd Anniversary



The Great Lawn and gardens of the new Peachtree Road LEED-Designed high-rise living environment, The Brookwood, welcomed the leaders of Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby's International Realty to celebrate the company's founding.

Those present at the 2nd Anniversary celebration included Robert Patterson and Robert Hughes, principles of The Brookwood, Atlanta Fine Homes co-founders CEO Jenny Pruitt and president David Boehmigm, the firms agents and friends, as well as representatives from the law firm Campbell and Brannon.  Attendees were given the opportunity to tour three model residences designed by John Oetgen, Jillian Pritchard Cooke, and Anna Simone.

Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby's International Realty was founded in June 2007 by Pruitt and Boehmig in Buckhead, and since then the agency has added a new North Atlanta branch and has become known for its promotion of new Atlanta "Skyrise" living.

Isakson Living Acquires Equity Interest in Peachtree Hills Place

Despite the troubling economic times, Isakson Living, Atlanta's leading developer of residential communities offering a continuum of care for seniors, has acquired Colonial Bank's equity interest in Peachtree Hills Place, Isakson Living's 274-unit residential community soon to be constructed at the intersection of Peachtree Hills Avenue and Virginia Place.

Peachtree Hills Place is already over 50% pre-sold and Isakson Living is planning to reinvigorate its selling process to obtain more residents. The luxurious services and amenities provided may give Peachtree Hills Place some smart advantages over homes that its residents previously occupied.

Ashford Landing Celebrates its Grand Opening!


June 25th marked the official opening of the Ashford Landing home for independent seniors, located on the site of the former Johnson Ferry East public housing project near Ashford Dunwoody and Johnson Ferry roads in Dekalb County. Ashford Landing is the second of a multi-phase development of a new mixed-use community, Brookleigh.

The 117-unit appartment development consists of one and two bedroom units for seniors 62 years and older. The units are priced to be affordable to lower-income seniors. The apartments are owned by the Housing Authority of DeKalb County and are being designed and constructed by its development partners the Norsouth Companies and the Collaborative Firm.

Brookleigh, a mixed-use, mixed income community, will be completed in 2012 and will feature, in addition to the Ashford Landing apartments, a retail village designed by Madison Retail, LLC., luxury mid-rise apartments and high-end single family homes and condominiums.

Horizon at Wildwood Sales Soar

Horizon at Wildwood, Cobb County's first luxury high-rise condominium, has become Atlanta's top-selling condominium development, completing contracts on a record 95 homes in three months.

Horizon has lowered the price of its 2-bedroom homes to former 1-bedroom prices, starting at $199,000. Only five penthouses remain, and one-bedroom homes are sold out.

According to the Horizon sales center, buyers should act quickly to get the homes that they desire. Homes are available for immediate move-in.
